Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques

The Department was established in the academic year (2019–2020) at the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Gilgamesh University. It offers a four-year credit-hour-based program integrating theoretical knowledge with practical training in clinical chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and endocrinology. The Department emphasizes hands-on training in modern laboratories and field training in hospitals and healthcare institutions, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for professional practice. It also supports applied research, critical thinking, and collaboration with healthcare institutions.
